Having a call to action not only tells your users what to do on your website, but it also helps give your particular page a focus. If you have multiple calls to action, always make sure one is the main call to action. That way nobody is confused on what should be done on the particular page.
Helps You Track Conversions
A few weeks ago we wrote about the importance of conversion tracking. When you have a call to action, you will know what you want to track on this website. Is it signing up for your newsletter? Or perhaps making a purchase? Including a call to action on your website will let you know what you should be tracking.
Calls to Action Increase Conversion Rate
Yep, when you tell people what to do (buy now, like this post, pin this post) you are more likely to get people to do that action. So don’t be shy and make sure you tell your users what to do!
